Bark

Sourced from within the British Isles, our bark is produced from a mix of conifer and spruce bark. 


Bark (mulch) is used to reduce water loss, suppress weeds and protect against extreme temperatures, making it ideal to use as a mulch in flower beds. 


We supply Bark in Bulk Bags or in equivalent 80 litre bags.

Full Description

  • Type: Mixed conifer bark, with a high percentage of spruce, responsibly sourced from the UK. White wood content no greater than 15% by volume.

  • Product Dimensions: 90% of the particles fall in the range of 8-35mm

  • Bag Dimensions: 1m3 Bulk Bag. Height  97cm x Width 76cm x Length 116cm

  • Coverage (m²): 33 m² at a depth of 40mm

  • Product Weight: Sold by volume, the bag is approx 250 - 350kg.

  • Key Features: Reduces water loss from the soil, helps weed control and acts as insulation for plant roots, reducing plant loss in cold weather. Fire resistant in accordance with BS4790:1987. Ideal in areas of fire risk.
